Sara A. Klusas, LISW-S provides services for individuals, couples and families to help enhance positive communication, build or maintain more fulfilling relationships, and aid in the skillful management of life stresses. She has expertise in the areas of anxiety, depression, poor self-image, career counseling, stress management, substance abuse, sports performance, social difficulties and life transitions.
Mrs. Klusas possesses a strong belief in empowering individuals and families to make positive changes; she ensures each individual and family receives unique assistance according to their specific needs and goals. She provides empathy and respect for clients while using a teamwork approach to obtain the desired outcome through positive growth and lasting change in a safe, non-judging relationship. Mrs. Klusas predominantly utilizes cognitive behavioral and solution-focused techniques to assist the modification of thoughts and behaviors for the development of successful long-term solutions.
Mrs. Klusas completed her Masters degree in clinical social work at The Ohio State University. She previously worked for a Fortune 500 company and was a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). She has been inducted into the National Social Work Honor Society.
